Top Dog

Saturdays Top Dog was played in poor weather leading to a smaller field than usual. The winning score was 47 points returned by Jed Kenyon and Stuart Hitchman.

Current Standings

Ben Dickson still leads the Order of Merit with an impressive total of 295 points.

Praia D’el Rey Pro-Am

Last week Gareth and I were lucky enough to visit Portugal to play in the PDR Pro-Am, played over 2 fantastic golf courses, Praia D’el Rey and the new West Cliffs course. Both courses are a great test of golf and the weather always adds to the challenge with the wind blowing from the Atlantic sea.

Many thanks to my team the ‘1895ers’ – Alex Campbell, Carmel Campbell and Geoff Barnsley.

I won’t mention our scores but we had a very enjoyable few days.

Congratulations to Gareth who managed a 7th place finish in the Professionals individual event.

As you can see from the photo’s West Cliffs provides some stunning views and is a real test of golf.
